At the first signs of the mouth sore which is characterized by an irritation and burning feeling on the area where the ulcers will most probably appear, follow a regular rinsing of anti-bacterial gargle solution. This will help reduce the symptoms and on a high scale will most likely prevent further irritation thus avoiding a mouth sore.
The best home care remedy for mouth sores is by putting salt directly on the crater of the ulcer. This is really very painful though it provides a fast and continuous relief from the day to day pains that these mouth sores bring about. Another home remedy is by gargling with salt water mixture which is a simple saline solution that can relieve the mouth from bacterial infections.
Taking standard painkillers will help alleviate the pain caused by the mouth sores. However, when the mouth ulcer lasts longer than you’ve expected like to more than ten days, you should immediately seek a doctor’s advice.
